my derm had told me i need to get laser treatment and so i was shopping around and found skinney. I did my consultation with sarah. she was super friendly and informative. i liked that she didn’t try to upsell me on anything. i just told her my problem areas and she told me the same treatment that my derm recomended. i came in today to do my laser treatment with heather and she was also great! i really loved how honest she was and answered all of my questions. so glad i chose this place to get my treatment done.

After just moving to NYC from Los Angeles, I’m incredibly fortunate I’ve found Skinny Medspa. I wanted to find a one stop shop that for all of my beauty needs. Not only was I blown away by how stunning the W 57th Street location is, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I received a full consultation with my first visit to discuss all of the different service offerings and immediately felt very excited about the breath of knowledge of the staff. I didn’t feel as though they were trying to oversell me on any service and they really cared about making sure I felt comfortable. My first visit, I had Botox injected and was a bit nervous (given I have had Botox injected before and was not happy with the results). Not only did my Botox set perfectly, I even cancelled the complimentary follow up appointment, where they provide additional units if needed, because my injections were done so accurately and naturally the first visit. I cannot wait to go back and experience the other services they have to offer. Susan was my nurse for my injections and I would recomend her 100% to anyone who visits. A 5 star experience all around!

I had an appointment with Susan to do my Botox. I was a little nervous being im a guy and have had resting lines on my forehead I wanted to see look a little better. My god; The experience with her was AMAZING. She was so gentle, and an EXPERT. I had so many questions, and she answered all of them much better than the hours of research I did prior on google. I pulled up like Macaulay Culkin and 2 weeks later, today, I look like Ryan Gosling during his prime. I could not recomend her more!!!!!!
I had the best experience at Skinney! I came in for Botox and emsculpt. The staff is so friendly, the environment is clean, fun, and I felt well taken care of. My injector, Angel, really listened to my concerns and did an excellent job.

My skin is GLOWING! I had a high-tech facial with Josie, who really took care of my skin. She was super knowledgeable on all things beauty and gave me great advice and recomendations. Honestly it was one of the best facials I’ve gotten. I’ve already booked another appointment with her because I trust that she will take care of my skin and help me get the results I want. Angel at Skinney Medspa on 5th avenue is so talented and knowledgable! She took time to explain the procedure, talked to me about the long-term goals I have and didn’t try to push more of anything on me. I have been a customer since 2015. I have been to both their Flatiron and the Plaza Hotel locations. I prefer the Flatiron location because it’s a large, high ceiling, beautifully decorated loft space. Each treatment room is spacious with lovely decor. Very friendly staff, always accomodated me on short notice. I’ve had Restylane under-eye, by Dr. Hadley King here. Amazing job, Hadley! I’ve also had several laser peels called Clear and Brilliant done here. The recent one being yesterday. Still recovering from it but in my previous experience, within 3-4 days, the skin starts looking radiant. The redness stays for a day or two. My previous technician was Marissa. She’s no longer there. Moved to Miami, I was told! So Marissa if you are reading this, Hi! 🙂 Yesterday I got someone new who did a great job also. I like this place and recomend it!!!
Such a wonderful experience. The staff are all so sweet and friendly. I came in for a consultation for Clear and Brilliant, Lindsay was so amazing. She gave me suggestions for the treatment I should get (I was choosing between that and microneedling), walked me through the process, showed me really helpful before and after photos. I got my first treatment on Monday, the treatment itself kind of hurts but my technician was so so nice, supported me through the whole thing. I bought a package for the treatment which also gets you a nice discount!
At 21 I developed wretched, humiliating rosacea on my cheeks and on the side of my nose. I tried EVERYTHING. Every cream, face wash, concealer, topical…the verdict on Rosacea treatment is photo facial. I decided it was time to invest so in 2017 I got on Groupon and booked a promo with Skinney. I’ve been seeing Christine at Skinney ever since. the improvements in my skin condition are beyond what I could’ve imagined. My skin is even, smoothe, glowing and the rosacea is all but gone. the youth preserving effect on my skin is something I didn’t expect. I’m a baby about pain sometimes and I have a little anxiety. Christine straight held my hand during my first sessions. She’s kind and damn good at perfecting skin. The facilities at Skinney are gorgeous. everybody is kind and welcoming. I’m excited to try more treatments with Skinney. They’re great about sending clients special deals and promotions. Dying to try cool sculpt.
I was taken aback by how beautiful the space really was. Having been to dozens of medspas in the city, there’s often a certain low budget feel. This was the opposite. Everyone was so friendly. Patricia was helpful and honest. I’m looking forward to many treatments!

Amazing!!! Susan did my botox – she was super professional and sweet. I told her the last time I got botox from my dermatologist, I got migraines for ~1 week. She catered everything to me and sent me text messages to follow up to make sure I was okay with advice to prevent them this time. I did not get any migraines and am SO happy with the results! Highly highly recomend!!!

Honestly the best and only place to go to in NYC for Medspa services. I’ve tried a lot of different places and there is nothing that beats Skinney’s professionalism, atmosphere, and price. They seriously have the best of all worlds, it’s a super clean and beautiful facility with great and personable technicians for sometimes the lowest prices you can find around , especially during promotions. Sarah and Zasha are both amazing so I would recomend them, although I’ve had great experiences with everyone here anyway honestly. Definitely go here, you will not regret it!
Highly recomend Skinney Medspa as the Number #1 spa for all your facial and coolsculplting needs in NYC. Professional and thorough from the start. Prior to my appointment, I received a call 5 days before scheduled appointment to confirm my hydrafacial. They then sent over links to the new patient/facial/covid 19 security forms to fill out before my arrival. Each of the forms were clear and concise, detailing the covid 19 safety precautions they were taking during their daily sessions. What was impressive as well is the questionnaire forms inquired the client to list any allergies, family history, medical background, current lifestyle, products used and medications that factor into giving the client the best (and most importantly) the safest possible treatment possible. Upon arriving to the flatiron location, the staff was extremely polite, welcoming and professional. Staff around the lobby were constantly wiping down and maintaining safety precautions and cleanliness. The spa exudes a relaxing and serene atmosphere; all the products they use are available on display and there were auto screen messages that show the different types of services they provide, as well as interesting research and visuals on the various types of skin and ailments that most people struggle with today. Heather was my aesthetician that did my hydra facial. She was extremely professional, warm, knowledgeable, and descriptive with the process of the hydrafacial. She described each step thoroughly , asked me questions about my current skin regime, and made amazing recomendations on how to cure some of my skin ailments. Heather checked in with my well being each step of the facial, and even showed me the end result of the impurities extracted from my skin. She recomended some amazing products that I am excited to start using in order to get my acne, sensitive skin under control. The best spa experience I have ever had. Love this med spa, conveniently located inside Saks! They have top of the line effective skin-care products to add to your regimen ASAP! They provide all types of services from Em-Sculpt to Hydrafacials. I started my Em-sculpt session on the abdomen & buttocks for a great price for package. Paige and Thalia were on shift when I visited and they are such charismatic, nice girls. They walk you through any question or concern you may have and they do it in a pleasant way unlike other med spa’s. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment and see the results of my Em-sculpt process. Highly recomend.

Best Medical Spa in NYC. I came here for a laser treatment and was very impressed. I have been two their two other locations. I am not sure which is my favorite. They are all great. They offer everything here: photofacials, emsculpt, clear and brilliant and cool sculpting or coolsculpting not sure how you spell it. The location is stunning. Skinney is my go-to for all things New York City skin care related. Right off of saks fifth Avenue, this spa will make you feel like a queen. My skin is always in need of serious, serious help in NYC. And I know I’m not the only one ( many of my friends suffer from the same acne, dryness, dullness) They offer facials like clear and brilliant, microdermabrasion ( must in NYC) chemical peels, etc. They do Coolsculpting -which I loved when I got it at skinney a few months ago, and emsculpt , a machine that builds muscle for you. It is actually equivelent to something around 20,000 squats.. wow, ok. Let me cancel my gym membership now, I’ll take the Emsculpt. The staff was so friendly and accomidating, they make you feel so comfortable. I feel and look so much better. Can’t wait to come back.

I saw Susan,she was awesome! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. It was my first time ever having an injection and I was CERY nervous, also scared of needles but I have been wanting to do this forever. I am in the beauty field and always wanted a bigger top lip because mine always didn’t feel complete when wearing lipstick..until not my photos look just as i have always wanted.only problem is not we have to wear a mask everywhere due to covid and i can’t show them off! Susan used Juvederm Volbella XC on my lips -she focused on using the tenting technique (aka “Russian lip” or “lip flip”) to build structure and fanning technique throughout the body of the lips to add volume. We also did lip correction for the asymmetry of your left top lip the results were fabulous. I am very happy and will definitely be going back in 8 months to a year.

Like all the other Skinney locations; this space is luxurious, comfortable, and well appointed. I had the Clear and Brilliant laser treatment done for the first time last week and the results that I am seeing have exceeded my expectations. The treatment was painless because the staff had scheduled me to arrive early so I could apply a topical lidocaine to my face. I was red that first night after the treatment but by the next day my face looked okay to go out in public. After the third day skin looked clear and pore less. I’ve never experienced such noticeable results so quickly. I’ll be coming back for a second and third treatment in these next upcoming months.
Had the laser hair removal and one of my main concerns was how bad the pain would be. But I endured barely ANY pain. It was GREAT. It feels like little rubber band snaps, not bad at all compared to other places I’ve been to. I can definitely finish off allmy treatments here. My Aunt also tried the cool sculpting and is so happy with the results . No down time or pain. Love them!????????????

Skinney Medspa is the place I keep coming back to again and again to keep my skin young, fresh, and the best it can be. With so many bad experiences and given that my face is the first thing people see in day to day interactions, there is nothing like going to the best medspa in the city that has the most knowledgeable staff to address all different kinds of skin needs. As an early thirty year old girl, I prefer to invest my money on my skin waaay more than on a new pair of shoes or purse, so this is where my money goes! The space is beautiful and they have the most up to date tools to address all different types of concerns. I get a quarterly clear and brilliant that resets my skin. The results are immediate and progressive. Within a week of the treatment my skin is unbelievably softer, brighter, and shows more even skin tone. If you take care of your skin and protect it from the sun, the results can last for months. I’ve also tried emsculpt on my abs which helps you build muscle like nothing I’ve seen. It’s like doing 20,000 crunches in 30 minutes. It helped me get to that next level toning that I couldn’t get with the gym alone. I have visited Skinney Medspa a few times and every visit was amazing. I love Skinney Saks because of its unique location inside Saks Fifth Avenue store (second floor near the elevators). The place screams beauty! Treatment rooms are impeccably clean and relaxing. The ladies at Skinney are wonderful, very caring, extremely knowledgeable and professional (Nashira is my favorite). I would 100% recomend a VI chemical peel. I’m very happy with the results. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Skinney Medspa has been great! I’ve been going here for about a year for laser and peels. The quality of all the products and laser are excellent. I’ve been to the other locations a few times but the Saks 5th Ave location has my go-to lately. They have great flexibility with appointments and their table rooms are conveniently located away from the shopping area. Allison and Natasha are my main ladies, but anyone else I’ve ever had has been a pleasure!

I was really nervous going in because it was my first time doing juverderm on my smile lines. Neatness to say, she did a wonderful job. We did very little, came back a second time to touch it up. She could had done it in one shot, but again I was nervous. Little by little helped. Now I’m going back for something else. The situation is very comfortable and the price is worth it. I don’t think I’m nervous anymore ????????????

I booked a large area laser hair removal package and my experience at Skinny Med has been the absolute best. I have been looking for a trust worthy laser hair removal spa in manhattan for over two years, and I was worried about the laser hurting or not working. I’m half way through my sessions and the laser is actually working, almost none of the hair grows back. The laser technician Josie makes the sessions so easy and pleasant, the laser itself is almost painless and the appointments with her are always right on time. I cannot suggest skinny med enough.

I met with a medical professional via FaceTime from a private treatment room to determine if I was a candidate for treatment. the team is friendly, professional and take the time to explain the procedures as well as expenses. Can’t wait to start my Em Sculping. I highly recomend Skinney Medspa!

Out of all the medi spas I have been to (and I have been to a lot) Skinney at Flatiron has a very special way of seeing beauty. From the moment I made my first call to inquire about services, to the extra time they took to find a time that worked for me, every staff member was kind and thoughtful. The team is highly knowledgeable with a down to earth humility that can be hard to find in this industry. Heather (my esthetics service provider) was attentive and caring. We spent almost 5 hours in treatment, and time flew by. I had the perfect balance of attention and space. And the extra care that was offered showed they have a philosophy in which it is not just about the treatment . There is a belief the “how” something is done is just as important as the “what”. The staff really seems to love what they do, which makes getting the services all the more easeful. I couldn’t leave without booking my next appt. In a world where everyone seems to be offering similar products or treatments, finding a place that has that extra special way of caring for their clients is golden. I highly recomend this Skinney Medspa at Flatiron. Might actually see you there!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Skinney Flatiron. I have been wanting to try laser resurfacing but was hesitant. Skinney took all my worries away. The facility is beautiful, very clean and modern. The staff could not have been friendlier. They offer a wide variety of services and BR products. Can’t wait for my next treatment!
I recently got a series of fraxel and clear and brilliant treatments. The facility is beautiful, clean and high tech. The staff is professional, nice and very knowledgable/comforting. They always have great deals and offers if you sign up to receive their updates. Highly recomend!

Came here for Clear+Brilliant treatments 3x now, and each time the esthetician performing the procedure was top notch. All were very friendly with great bedside manner, comunicative about the procedure, and told me things about my skin I never knew before! The Medspa itself has been running right on time for every single appointment, and the desk staff was very accomodating (especially during 2020 when COVID made visit more challenging). After coming here multiple times for a laser facial (which I’d never had before!), I can confidently say I would recomend this place to anybody interested in Clear+Brilliant!

Amanda Dorfman is the rare esthetician who really knows the human body, and only suggests things that are actually possible to achieve. She is honest, and does not push unnecessary treatments. I feel lucky to have found her. The Medspa itself is very clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly.

As a frequent traveller I often try and find the most unique beauty care experiences. Skinney Medspa at Flatiron far surpassed my expectations even before I arrived for my appointment. A pre-visit phone consultation from Sara who went out of her way to work with my tricky schedule and Heather who was the light of the whole 6 hour treatment. They took care of my every need and more. I left with some amazing skin care products and a treatment schedule for my next service just in time to fly back to Canada, feeling like “a million bucks.” I highly recomend this bright, clean and pretty spa. But don’t let the feminine touch fool ya. There are some of the most skilled, down to earth and talented young female technicians in the city. They know their stuff. .

“my skin is glowing” I normally never write reviews however this visit warranted one!!! I have gone to many many many spas and many dermatologists (the best of the best because I’m picky as hell) and Skinney Med spa is by far superior to any other place I have been to. I went in for a simple Glycolic peel yesterday (at a fantastic price might I add) and my skin is glowing today!!! The facilities are gorgeous and in a great location. I work next door at SLT and pass by this place everyday and took a chance on it. I have been experiencing breakouts due to stress and Adriana was so helpful. She went above and beyond with her advice in how to reach my skin goals. She NEVER tried to “up sell” at all, her approach was just to simply help me. She has 10 years plus experience, so nice and her skin is fabulous why wouldn’t I take advice from her. When I checked out I booked another treatment (at a great price) and I’m thinking about going in and getting cool-sculpting. I’m skeptical but I totally trust Adriana. When I booked my next appointment I requested Adriana again and came to learn that she usually is not in because she is one of the owners!?? I was blown away by her hands on approach and her professionalism in general. I’m so sad I’m moving back to California at the end of the month, SkinneyMed spa please open in Newport Beach CA!!! “I have the belly of my 20 year old self!” Professional Well priced Nice people … I got cool sculpting done on my waist and the part under the bellybutton first thing I wish to do is share something people do not post on their reviews: *AHEM* There is a floor in hell dedicated to the level of pain that I went through. I have a half back, front thighs and butt tattoo that I would rather sit through AGAIN than go through the DAYS of not being able to sit, stand, walk, breathe, eat, hug, think, bend over to feed my dog, put on pants… It hurt ENOUGH when the person presses the BUJESUS out of your frozen *stick of butter* left after unhinging that evil freezing vacuum from your flesh.. but days later? forget comfort… Toss that sh*t word out the window because the most evil pain is waiting for you around the corner. and it does not leave for DAYS! Gals and guys, I take pain very well, and I thought I was going to die. My gf got it done a month later and she cursed my life because at one point, she woke up in the middle of the night sobbing from the pain. (I told her). She even got discoloration from it.. I did not have discoloration – which means her pain was worse. (Sorry gurl) All of that being said… now that the pain has gone… I noticed all of my fat is gone as well. Now that I cannot remember the specific pain.. all I see are results and I am SO BLEEPING HAPPY! WOW! I have the belly of my 20 year old self! No kidding! 20 years are GONE from my freggin stomach!!! I JUST started working out again (I wanted to see if I was getting my monies worth) and honestly – I do not have to work out because this worked out so well. My boyfriend complained that I was getting this done, how he does not see the *fat* that I am talking about and now that I am flat (I started to see results in 2 weeks), he sees it and loves it. I AM SO FLIPPIN HAPPY with the results and it has not been 2 months yet! But it hurts guys… over the counter drugs do not help. My friend went online and there are groups out there who have suggestions on how to slow down the pain. I just dealt with the pain like an idiot, so I cannot help you with suggestions. So I say go for it, the pain varies I am sure, but prepare yourself for the pain. Get good drugs and wear spanks because you want to die each time your skin moves when you take a STEP. It hurt to WALK! AVOID STAIRS! But at the end of the day? I LOOK AWESOME! I wish someone better prepared me for the pain before I did it – but I am very happy I did it Do it, but read up first. Worth it
